The article presents the results of sociological research on the opinion of the population of Tyumen region on the functioning of regional health care institutions, satisfaction with the effectiveness of free state medical care, willingness to use paid medical services within the framework of the social policy of the Russian Federation. The authors found differences in the assessments of different groups of the population, differentiated by age, region of residence, level of material well-being, self-assessment of their health, although in general the vast majority of respondents assessed the quality of free medical care negatively. Discriminant analysis was used as one of the research methods, which showed a fairly clear prediction of whether residents belonged to the group of consumers of free medical care, while the accuracy of predicting the use of paid medical care turned out to be extremely low. This is explained by the fact that the use of paid medical services is currently not a naturally developing process, but simply a necessity in the presence of a rather low quality of free medical services in some cases. The article supports the thesis that the population of Tyumen region is not ready to accept serious changes in the health care system, despite the fact that the number of users of paid medical services is growing. However, there are difficulties for residents in making such a transition, as a significant number of them cannot afford to use paid services and choose, or are forced to choose, free healthcare.
Today there are a number of works devoted to the study of the health of older people and the particularities of their lives with various chronic diseases. In sociological research, the issue of loneliness among older people is considered separately from the issue of health. Older people's loneliness is often studied as an imposed condition rather than a conscious choice. In this study, our goal was to analyze the understanding of older people's loneliness and possible health problems of older people living alone in both urban and rural areas. The aim of this article is to consider the characteristics of everyday health care for older people in everyday life. The research method is semi-structured interviews with older people living separately in St. Petersburg and in villages of the Republic of Karelia. The method used to analyze the interviews is thematic. The main results of the work are the key issues highlighted in the study in relation to the daily life of older people and the impact of loneliness. The article shows that older people's main concern is mental health and how to maintain it, as well as the importance of communication and interaction in improving mental health. The results of the study make it important to revise some ideas about the concept of active longevity, as well as the need for a special approach and planning of social policies with a focus on those older people for whom loneliness is a conscious choice. It is important to maintain mental health and support physical health for such older people.

The global challenges facing Russia and Russian society dictate the need to boost production and find resources to develop the country's industrial cities. These resources are related to the presence/absence of real leaders in them who are interested in transforming the city and who are able to act as integrators of managerial, industrial, business and creative communities. The aim of the article is to reveal the possibilities of the actor approach and related theories and methodologies for unlocking their potential, evaluating the effectiveness of activities.
The question about the participants in urban processes, their direction and prospects determined the choice of M. Weber's theory of social action, developed in the concepts of A. Touraine, P. Bourdieu and E. Giddens, P. Sztompka and V. A. Yadov, as the basis for further research on industrial cities in Russia.
Attracting the thought-activity methodology of G. P. Shchedrovitsky and Yu. V. Gromyko helps to define the criteria for evaluating the activities and communication of urban development entities, to understand the role of the target image of the city (formed on the basis of project or scenario approaches) in giving direction to their strategies. Methodology of predictive social design T. M. Dridze makes it possible to predict the social consequences of management decisions based on the opinions of all stakeholders. All these approaches are considered through the prism of the possibility of their application to the study of the actors of non-capital industrial cities of Russia with a generalization of the developments that are available in this direction in Russian science.
The significance of the work lies in the theoretical advances in the study of urban development actors with a focus on non-capital industrial cities, in the creation of theoretical and methodological foundations for further research into their potential, strategies and practices.
The study is considered in the context of existing knowledge in political sociology. Its relevance lies in the fact that our country is once again experiencing a turning point in its more than thousand-year history. Today Russia is looking for its own vector of foreign policy development, moving away from the influence of the West, but without seeking full integration with the civilizations of the East. A special military operation should be confidently seen as a catalyst for the formation of a new world order, changing the weight of countries in the international balance of power. The result will correlate with the events in the military conflict zone, changes in the structure of the world economy and measures for political resolution of the military confrontation. Our state has always remained original, but it is too early to talk about the completion of the formation of a political course.
The aim of the study is to examine the issue of the political interest of modern Russian students as the most progressive and receptive part of the population and their respective sentiments on the key issues of the country's political life in relation to the state's foreign policy.

Changes in the political situation in the country and in the world, the rupture of political and economic ties stimulated the development of public-private partnerships at all levels of government, including regional ones. Economic sanctions and political isolation became a stimulus for the development of partnership relations between the state and investors; there was a "spillover" of resources and a change in the focus of investment in Russian markets. On the one hand, the withdrawal of foreign partners in the context of expanding sanctions makes it necessary to search for new partners and resources in a short period of time; on the other hand, it takes time to build trusting relationships, and they are built with the help of budgetary funds as well. The aim of the study is to analyze the situation in the development of public-private partnerships in the changing political environment. As the analysis of the materials shows, the structure of the implementation of partnership mechanisms has changed towards the social sphere, changes in the legislation of 2022-2023 demonstrate the expansion of the spheres of application of public-private partnership mechanisms, satisfying the social and economic interests of society, while at the same time tightening the requirements for partners and partnership.
