Abstract

Cardinal socio-political and economic changes in the country and the world require a revision of the principles of interaction between the government and society. The establishment of dialogue, partnership relations between all subjects of political communications is an urgent problem, the solution of which depends on positive changes in the Russian social reality. The emergence of the Internet has caused a shift towards remote modes of interaction, rendering direct communication amongst political actors less germane and often viewed as insufficiently meeting the needs of the contemporary information society.
Such a position is not always justified; therefore, the article substantiates the need for an integrated approach to the organization of political interaction between representatives of the legislature and the population. This approach should incorporate a blend of both virtual network and inperson communication methods. For this purpose, we examine the potential connections between elected officials and voters using formats mandated by law in the Russian Federation. These formats have been practiced through accumulated socio-technological and political-technological experience, including activities carried out in direct interpersonal and group relation-ships, as well as on the Internet. Various innovative measures are employed here, utilizing the potential of social networks and messaging platforms as channels for disseminating information. Thanks to the network infrastructure, all politically active citizens who are interested can access any traditional forms of interaction between deputies and their constituents that have been implemented and legislated, such as assemblies, meetings, etc.
The article is classified as a review article using a descriptive method and an expert interview. Its aim is to examine the crucial forms of interaction between legislators and citizens, summarize assessments from regional deputies with substantial experience in public authorities at local and regional levels, and substantiate the requirement to combine both network and personal communications in political practices.

Abstract

The growing importance of the non-profit sector in the Russian Federation, its infrastructural development leads to the need for its inclusion as a subject of development management of the state, region and municipality. Resource support centers for socially oriented non-profit organizations have emerged to professionalize and strengthen the sector, but their functionality goes beyond the designated limits, and involvement in solving various problems of the territory creates prerequisites for their transformation into centers of social development. The aim of the study is to evaluate the process of transformation of resource centers for support of socially oriented non-profit organizations into centers of social development. The conclusions, which are presented in this article, are the results of a comprehensive study in organizations, which are included in the Ural network of resource centers for the support of socially oriented non-profit organizations, in 2021 to 2023 using a set of sociological research methods: content analysis, participant observation, focus group, expert survey. The suggested methodology for evaluating the conversion of resource centers into centers of social development can enable the exploration of their activities as both a resource and a subject of territorial development management.

Abstract

This article is devoted to the issue of Internet addiction, because the Internet is increasingly becoming an inseparable aspect of modern life, expanding its reach into all spheres and enhancing its capabilities. The usage of the World Wide Web is rising among young people, with a noticeable decline in volitional control over the Internet over time. Therefore, young people are unable to deal with Internet addiction. Engaging with virtual reality causes mental disorders and affects the personality's social traits. The authors of the article, formulating the main goal of studying the problem, continued to further investigate the emerging causes of the development of Internet addiction among young people, highlighting not only the advantages that the Internet presents, but also its negative impact on human life. The World Wide Web has introduced many temptations with new information technologies, leading to an increasing number of "victims" on its networks, who, according to studies, are increasingly younger. To ensure that Internet technologies serve the good of mankind, it is essential to create guidelines to promote computer literacy and offer social support for users. Therefore, the issue of Internet addiction must be addressed primarily through legal means and at the state level.

Abstract

When a family immigrates, they face the pressure of adjusting to new living conditions. These changes can have a significant impact on the family's social status, lifestyle, members, system of value orientations, and motivation for life activities. The considerable migration of families to Russia necessitates the identification of key trends in the transformation of migrant family institutions and the socio-cultural conditions within host societies. It is essential to examine the social impact of this transformation on all parties involved, including the preservation of national socio-cultural identities of families, as well as the social, economic and political development of the region. The article highlights the theoretical and practical importance of migrant family "manifestation" as a migration behavior and sociological research topic, which is still poorly studied. This phenomenon generates new family forms and directly impacts the integration processes of migrants into the host society, the society itself, and the family structure of the local population. The authors faced difficulties in resolving research tasks due to the unavailability of official statistics on family migration, which impedes the estimation of the magnitude of this social phenomenon. To address this issue, they aimed to showcase the applicability of the Fermi method to approximately gauge the growth of family migration based on statistical information pertaining to other quantifiable facets of migration processes. The authors have estimated the approximate number of migrant families entering Russia/Tyumen region during 2017 to 2021 from three CIS countries (the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Tajikistan). This information can be used for scientific purposes as part of the continuation of family research, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of various state programs of migration and family policy in the region.
